The Role

 

The Argos for Business Product Marketing Management role is to generate demand and support the conversion of this demand into boarded customer for the Argos for Business Products.

As a Product Marketing Manager your main responsibilities will be to:

 

  • Defining what products (propositions and bundles) will be offered to our identified target customers (Sectors, segments) and defining how these customers will be reached. (Channels)

 

  • Setting the price for the Product proposition and bundle. Within the boundaries set by the Product Development team and the Product Catalogue.

 

  • Defining how the customer will be introduced to the product (e.g. Advertising, telemarketing/business)

 

  • Supporting the Sales team in the conversion of these customers.

 

  • Managing the Product Marketer(s), taking responsibility for career development and team development

 

  • Working with key stakeholders in AFB and wider to ensure that Product Marketing delivery is highly effective, fit for purpose, clearly focussed, streamlined, and communicated.

 

  • Owning the process and working with Product Development and the Sales teams, the role holder will own, develop and plan strategies to deliver sales through the development of the customer proposition, product bundles and is ultimately accountable for the demand generated and the conversion of customers.

 

  • Supporting the planning and control and the maintenance of the Product Catalogue, developing and implementing and managing the new business development process.

As a Product Marketing Manager your skills & qualifications will ideally include:

 

  • Graduate calibre, with sound demonstrated understanding of Product Development lifecycles and specifically B2B/Ecommerce products and services.

 

  • Ability to think strategically, develop new initiatives independently and manage a business development process.

 

  • Creative and innovative thinker, prepared to challenge the status quo and embrace change.

 

  • Very customer focussed and aware of B2B, B2B2C, B2B2E customer market trends.

 

  • Results driven, self motivated and able to take the lead as required.

 

  • Experience of working collaboratively and gaining buy in through building trust and sound relationships.
